We have rescheduled the 2025 training classes for the Facility Management Professional (FMP) Certification, providing chapter members and industry professionals with the opportunity to expand their FM knowledge, advance their careers, and better serve the industry.

IFMA Chesapeake Chapter members receive preferred rates as part of our commitment to maximizing the value of your membership and promoting the educational resources available to you. Preferred rates will also be extended to those who report to IFMA Chesapeake members and IFMA members at large. We hope this opportunity encourages non-members to join the chapter and take advantage of this valuable training on the core competencies of Facility Management.

FMP classes will be offered virtually and led by our chapter member & Past President,  IFMA Certified Instructor, Gary Pfeiffer.

20 total classes (2x weekly, 90 min ea.) encompassing the following modules of study:

Operations & Maintenance/Finance & Business

Project Management/Leadership & Strategy 

 Details on the cost savings are below. 

·         Direct Member of Chapter- If you are a Chesapeake Chapter member your price will be $1350.00 for all four modules, with online educational course materials included.

·         Indirect Member of Chapter - if you are supervising a team member who you would like to take FMP classes, and are a Chesapeake Chapter member, you are also entitled to a discounted rate for your team member- $1450.00 for all four modules with online course materials included. 

·         IFMA Member, not a Chesapeake chapter member- $1650.00 for all four modules with online course materials included. 

                                             NOTE:  For a hard copy of FMP course materials, there will be an additional fee of $75.00.
