The IFMA Chesapeake Chapter Board team is excited to be offering a chance for our professional members to participate in an educational opportunity presented by PA College of Technology, a UPenn org.

 The Fundamentals of Energy Efficient Building Operation. 

Hosted by the Baltimore Convention Center Facilities team, the Clean Energy Team at Pennsylvania Collect of Technology is offering a three-day course, August 19, 20, 21, 2024.

 The Fundamentals of Energy Efficient Building Operations is designed for individuals who are new to commercial building operations and energy management—as well as those in management and supervisory roles. Participants will be introduced to foundational principles for optimizing building efficiency, the interdependencies of key building systems, and the basics of measuring and benchmarking energy performance. This class lays a foundation for individuals to pursue an advanced career pathway focused on energy efficient building operations.

All classes are scheduled from 9am to 4pm, each day August 19th, 20th & 21st. 

 NOTE: Facility Managers, Facility Engineers, & Facility Maintenance personnel---- BG&E is subsidizing 100% of registration cost (rebate) for anyone who works at a facility BG&E provides electricity.
